Global Cleantech 100 Names Ioxus To Prestigious List

Every year, the Cleantech Group, a leading research firm focused on global cleantech innovation, makes a careful selection of the 100 private companies most likely to make a significant impact in the market within the next decade. On Monday, Ioxus was added to this year’s list out of more than 4,000 nominees, and we expect to fulfill the expectations of that honor.

Global consumption of ultracapacitors is on the rise; we should see $1.16 billion in ultracapacitor purchases by 2015 and $7 billion by 2020. Obviously, it’s an important time for this technology, and an important time to parse out which ultracapacitor designers and manufacturers will lead the market. Ioxus has differentiated itself from other players with our efforts to decrease the cost and increase the energy and power density, reliability and performance of ultracaps to support alternative energy applications around the world.

    ONEONTA, N.Y.Jan. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Ioxus uSTART® has received two fleet industry awards for sustainability by eliminating lead-acid batteries with its ultracapacitor-based, drop-in battery replacement.
