Ioxus Welcomes Ken Rudisuela as Chief Technology Officer

Today, Ioxus welcomes to our growing team, Ken Rudisuela, who joins us as our new chief technology officer (CTO). With nearly three decades of experience in the advanced battery and ultracapacitor markets, Ken will lead our engineering, research and development teams.

As an industry veteran with experience with thin-cell products, Ken was the number one choice to direct our teams in creating products that will attract global customers. In his position as CTO, Ken will help Ioxus stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving energy storage technology market by producing ultracapacitors and hybrid capacitors that empower application innovations in a wide range of industries.


Prior to joining Ioxus, Ken was an engineering manager and then general manager at Moli Energy, the only high-volume, commercial manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries outside of Asia. Ken also was a founding member of Ashurst Technologies in Ukraine, which developed the highest specific capacitance activated carbon available. Ken later founded Arcotronics Technology Services, a global developer of advanced battery manufacturing processes and high-speed automated machinery. Ken recently led two ultracapacitor companies in Canada and California and served as the chief operating officer at German lithium-ion battery company, GAIA/LTC. Ken earned his Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Waterloo.
