Nick Cataldo Joins Ioxus as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing

The Ioxus team continues to grow, and we’ve most recently welcomed Nick Cataldo as Ioxus’ new senior vice president of global sales and marketing. With extensive experience growing revenue for cleantech companies, Nick is responsible for expanding the global market adoption of Ioxus ultracapacitor cells and modules.

His long-term customer relationships, technical expertise and ability to manage teams and drive sales will be key in strengthening Ioxus’ global presence and spreading awareness about cost-effective supercapacitor technology. Nick will focus on building sales and marketing teams that thoroughly understand customer needs, and he will continue to target prospective customers in wind, transportation, industrial and consumer applications.

For more than 20 years, Nick has led sales and marketing teams at semiconductor and cleantech companies. Previously, he was a key sales and marketing executive at NEC Electronics, Semtech, International Rectifier and Boston-Power. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing at Leyden Energy. At both Boston-Power and Leyden Energy, Nick was instrumental in generating initial revenue, and he has a long record of building brand recognition to surpass profit goals. Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.

    ONEONTA, N.Y.Jan. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Ioxus uSTART® has received two fleet industry awards for sustainability by eliminating lead-acid batteries with its ultracapacitor-based, drop-in battery replacement.
